Matt Stevens

Matt has served in ministry since 1988. As a Pastor, communicator, administrator and musician he has served in various capacities throughout the Church. The focus of his life is to grow in passion for God and reach out in compassion for man. His desire is to raise up an army of young people to reach their generation and the world around them.

Matt directs Chain Reaction ("CR") as a national initiative of Community Solutions, Inc. CR instills passion for God and compassion for people and empowers them to demonstrate God's unconditional love for people through service and random acts of kindness. CR weekends, spring break trips, and summer mission projects cultivate character and competence by providing opportunities for youth to activate their God-given capacity to meet felt-needs.

Matt is regarded as an emerging leader who is regularly asked to give leadership and participate in nationwide think tanks, grass roots mobilizations, and faith-based community projects.

Matt's greatest joy comes from being Katy's husband and the father of their three boys, Joshua, Micah, Jacob, while being his dog's best friend.
